We're very happy you decided to visit The Oyster Gallery online store and if you like what you see here, you'll love our shop on the beautiful South Wales coast.
Our online store offers a selection of our favourite items, but it's only a fraction of what we have in our shop. The Oyster Gallery spans three floors of two adjoining town houses at the top of Newton Road in the seaside village of Mumbles. The Oyster Gallery has been in Mumbles since 1950, where it started life as The Framing Machine Gallery. Still family-owned and run, The Oyster Gallery is now an extremely popular art gallery, framing specialist and lifestyle, interiors and gifts shop. In addition to the items available online, our shop also stocks:
Unique and beautiful jewellery including pieces by local Welsh designer Papa, British designers Rosie Brown and Sonya Bennett, and international designers Elran, Yaron Morhaim,and Pilgrim.
Bags, home ware, toiletries and mugs by the much-loved Cath Kidston.
China and kitchen ware by Portmeirion, including the Sophie Conran Collection.
Luxury toiletries by Cowshed and Nougat
A huge selection of greetings cards
And much, much more.
We're particularly proud of our gallery with original work and prints by local artists and photographers, including Sue Davis, Graham Smith, Annabel Dann, Terry Bevan, Rhonna Tooze, Leslie Donald, Tim Maher, Clive Jenkins, Terry Blaber, E John, Rachel Cole, lucy Young, Valerie Ganz and Karl Baker, and renowned British artists and John Knapp-Fisher, Sue Howells, Doug Hyde, and Gary Walton.
Mumbles is a beautiful, friendly village and makes a lovely day out; we have a Victorian pier, a lighthouse and a beautiful seaside walk, as well as some fantastic boutiques, coffee shops, bars and of course, The Oyster Gallery.
